Dr. Jackie Michael is a Board-Certified Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with more than 35 years healthcare experience and specializes in psychiatric mental health and women’s health. She has practiced as a registered nurse since 1988 and a nurse practitioner since 1993. She received her PhD and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Texas Woman’s University and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Texas at El Paso. She earned Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Colposcopist certificates from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as well as a Post-Master Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from Midwestern State University. She believes in providing authentic and empathetic holistic care based on current research and best practices. 

Dr. Michael founded Access Behavioral Health, Faith Health and Wellness to help clients heal, energize and optimize their emotional health by becoming aware of their inner strengths.  The practice is designed to provide a safe space as we treat existing conditions while working on prevention strategies. We strive to help you improve your quality of life, achieve your wellness goals, and support your best possible life.  

Our services focus on medication management and psychotherapy in an outpatient psychiatric practice in Dallas, Plano and Frisco via in-person and/or Telehealth appointments.
